This gasket for may bomar hatch was longer than needed so no worry I was using too much felt perfect and feel it will last another 15 years

Bought this to replace and old leaking hatch gasket. This was thicker than the original. Work great!

The seal that was sent was to small in length (not your fault). The replacement seal that I have already paid for has yet to be delivered after about 4 weeks of being on backorder (that is your fault).

Perfect fit for a older Bomar hatch, good instructions, easy install. A minor point to keep in mind, to finish, you need to cut a butt joint, make sure you have a VERY sharp knife to do this, so it is a clean cut, I might also suggest putting a touch of silicone sealant in the joint, just my two cents worth.

My port lights are too old (late 80s) so unfortunately these gaskets did not work. The return process was easy

The self adhesive strip made applying the gasket simple. A tapered cut and dab of glue sealed the ends where they meet.

when installing the new gasket material does the lens slide into the lip and then you use contact cement on the top of gasket and glue it to the top frame?

I would like to see a photo of the low profile hatch. I only see the round one. I ordered the one that was supposed to be for the large hatch 95009611 but it was the round gasket and doesn't fit.

Make sure you thoroughly clean the old material off and use Isoprop. Alcohol to clean the area before installing or else the adhesive will fail. I had no issues.
