Very thick and rough finish
Previous year the paint wasn't as thick and dried to a much smoother finish. Upon opening the container this year, about a third of the container had the consistency of playdo. I was able to stir it in but due to the thickness of it, I was not able to finish the bottom as I had previously been able to. The finish also dried much rougher than last year. I don't know if I got a bad can or if the product had changed. I would have contacted the company if I could have delayed my lift date. It performed well last year with 5 months in fresh water.

Hard Racing Bronze bottom paint.

Best finish for bottom paint on Woodies. Great for touch-ups. Fast drying and easy to sand. I usually thin with a little reducer because it is so thick. It seems like it's the only surviving brand out there--in todays' dollars, probably priced right. Too bad it's so expensive.

This is a Great company to do Business with, I will purchase from them again and their pricing is good and also shipping is as well. We live in a cold climate and can only do work in Spring/Fall and they are an ASSET to the Marine Business. Respectfully John N.H.

Nice color, does what it's supposed to do.

I've been using this product on my Cape Dory Typhoon for over 18 years. It has a nice copper color and works well for the four months I put the boat on a mooring in Minnesota waters. I always can reapply with minimal effort. More time sailing, less time working on the boat.

I would buy again. Delivery swift and trouble free.

I haven't used it yet, but the paint arrived just fine. A slight discoloration on part of the outside wrapper, but i don't see it affecting functionality. Not much choice for me as I have a wooden Lyman. It is either this or the Copper Bronze sold by Sandusky Paint in Sandusky, Ohio. That one is slightly darker. Since I already had the lighter Pettit product on my bottom, and I wanted this for touch up, there was not much issue what to use. Sandusky Paint told me to use the Pettit, but they were out of stock. They suggested Jamestown.
