Product Details
Circa 1850 Terra Nova NaturOil is a blend of pure oils that nourishes wood and prevents drying. There are no dyes, perfumes, or additives, and it is 100 percent Kosher, safe for food contact, and FDA approved. It is the perfect choice for finishing wood cutting boards, butcher block, salad bowls, toys, and similar items.
Terra Nova products are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Info & Guides
Directions:
1. Apply NaturOil to any unfinished wood surface using your hand, a cloth or a brush.
2. Allow NaturOil to soak into the wood for 15 minutes.
3. Wipe off excess.
4. Apply additional coats if wood is very dry.
5. Reapply every month, or as necessary.

I use it on my wood carvings before I paint them. Not only does it seal the wood but it also keeps the different color of paints from bleed into each other.

Can't live without it

I am a wood carver and I saw a video of a fellow wood carver using it and talking about it, I decided to give it a try and I fell in love with it, so easy to use, 100% natural and easy to clean up, it gives the wood a very nice finish before painting, it brings out the rich tones and grain of the wood.

I would buy this product again

I use this product for a sealing coat on my whittled items. It has been hard to find and expensive when I find it because it is made in Canada. Jamestown had the best price I had found - by far.

I use this terra nova nature oil on my wood carvings before I paint them! It works really great no smell easy cleanup and you don't have to worry about it catching on fire like boiled linseed oil!!! Jamestown distributors is a great place to do business with they send the products fast and no shipping fees!!

I use this on all my basswood carvings before I paint them to help eliminate bleeding paint into wood. Easy to apply with an acid brush and leave it soak in overnight. I like the product myself. It does what I want it to.

I bought this product to preserve a knife block that my Dad built for me before he passed. The block had become water stained and dirty over the years. He didn't put any type of wood protection on this item. The block is made from various types of woods. I gently sanded the block. Wiped it down and applied 2 coats of the oil as directed. Project complete and its beautiful!
