Q: null I need to replace a pair of SpringLift gas shocks that raise the boat's stateroom bed to access below bed storage. The numbers on the current shocks are SL-34-20 and then 206-95. But the ""20"" has a sticker over that says ""75#"". What is the appropriate current model number to order?

A: Sorry, but I don't have a cross reference. It's probably the SL34205, but you'll need to know the extended length and the weight of the hatch it is lifting.

Q: null Are these springs adjustable, allowing you to open from, say 10 degs. to 65 or 70 degs?

A: I used the contact locations already established. It replaced a worn out unit. If it is a new hatch. The degree it opens would depend on where you mounted it.

A: The springs I bought only keep the door in the fully opened position and do not help with counter-balancing the weight of the door as do gas springs.
