Oval Head Slotted Drive
Boatbuilders use Oval head screws to attach a wide variety of metal trim to decks hatches and other surfaces that people contact regularly. The oval head projects above the surface but because it is gently rounded it doesnt tend to snag on things as easily as a protruding flat head screw.

Screws 3/4" and under have no shoulder.

Antique auto restoration. They didn't have Phillips head screws back in the 20's and that's all the hardware stores carry these days.Suggest that you advertise in the Model T Times [@]
