They asked me what I think...

...and I think if we are going to pay the price of a fine, upstanding meal,served to us by beautiful people, for one hundred #8 screws, the least Jamestown could do is deliver them to us in a nice easy to store box, instead of another, yet another useless, unresealable plastic bag. Otherwise, they are screws, fine, nothing wrong with them screws...the slot is even and deep enough to not strip out. They look very nice, I just need to find a way to store the other 92 screws until the next time a need a few more of them.

Had several snap, few with no threads, and many with chips in the slots.

I have not had issues with these breaking. I drill one pilot hole and use a lube of linseed oil or wax, or whatever is handy. they work well in the Ash and Spruce I use.

Q: Do you carry ""countersunk"" washers that match this size and finish?

A: The washers fit well and the color match to the silicon bronze screws is very good.

A: If the threads are cut, the come from italy. If the are rolled, the are probably american. You can tell Italian as thread edges are very sharp. Ones we bought from Jamestown were from Italy.
