A: These nuts are unmarked and Grade 2 bolts are generally unmarked as well. But as Grade 2 is the lowest of the grading specs I am sure that these would meet the strength requirements of Grade 2. The threads are NOT galvanized and are over sized to allow for threading on to a galvanized bolt. These nuts should only be used on a galvanized bolt. I have not seen galvanized fasteners that are specified as to grade. They may exist but I have never seen them. If the grade 2 spec is a requirement I would suggest using stainless fasteners instead.
