A: For a 3/16__quote__ bold you need a #8 washer with a 3/16__quote__ ID for a tight fit.

A: Ben The # 6 washer is too small for a 1/4__quote__ bolt. Also,most carriage bolts have a square flange near the head that is slightly larger than the diameter of the bolt itself. Try a larger size washer.

A: The flat washers have an inner hole diameter of 1/4__quote__ and the outside diameter of the washer is 11/16__quote__ Hope this helps.
