A: If they WERE 316SST, I bet they'd say so, instead of using the undefined term ""Marine Grade""

Q: What is the shear strength of this 1/2 inch x 3.5 (probbly 316) carriage bolt. It will be used to bolt (7 bolts in total each side on a chainplete (x2) on the aft sides of a 45 foot sailboat that will be attached to a Jordan Series Drogue. I need 14 maximum strength bolts, lock washer, flat washer and nut. If you have any suggestions, plesse advise me.
