Product Details

These yellow foam roller covers are intended for use with gloss or semi-gloss coatings and finishes. Foam roller covers will not leave lint or stipple behind. Sold in packs of two.

Info & Guides
Note: These rollers work well with urethanes, polyurethanes, paints, gelcoat, and primers, but some users have reported that they are not solvent-resistant enough for some epoxy applications. If superior solvent resistance is a requirement for your project, consider the related West System 8002 roller cover listed below.

would not buy again

roller was spiral wound foam sheet on a cardboard tube. The spiral joint was not sealed/bonded and distorted quickly under use. The 3inch versions were saw cuts of a larger size such that the cardboard ends were jagged with little chards hanging off. These easily broke off and messed up the paint job when rolling. Had to switch over to a 4 inch solid foam roller bought from the box store

These are toys, not tools for craftsmen

These are spiral glued to a cardboard core. The foam delaminates from the spiral. The gaps leave lines of more thickly applied paint. The edges disintigrate, leaving bits of foam behind. Buy something else. These don't deserve to be sold by JD.

I wanted to test it for applying epoxy coatings on wood strip canoes I am building. This thin foam brush cover works very well.

Not the best quality

I thought Arroworthy was a brand name, these are not brand name and are cheaply made knock-offs. They work fine but they are not Arroworthy brand as advertised. That is misleading unless I'm mistaken and Arroworthy is a style, but I've been sent Arroworthy brand with some paints by TotalBoat.

Seams fall apart

Using for 2 part epoxy primer. The seams leave marks and then fall apart after applying about 4 oz of primer. Afraid to use on the finish coat. Suggest JD/Totalboat stock a 1/8 "" one piece foam roller

Not for 2 part epoxies!!

These foam rollers work fine for one part urethane and mild primers but not for the two part epoxy primers! they will fall apart and leave foam bits all in your paint job. Definitely leave a smoother finish when using paint though
