Product Details

TotalBoat cotton wiping rags will not scratch surfaces and are tough enough for use on metal. Great for furniture, marine, and auto body uses alike. Made of the same material as white T shirts.

We recommended using cotton rags because they are the most absorbent. Cotton rags sometimes have polyester fibers, which is a petroleum based fiber that absorbs petroleum based liquids, such as oil. Small amounts of polyester helps cotton to absorb faster by opening up the weave and allowing liquids to enter.

Plenty of quality rags of a good size in the bag. Super clean and soft. Will buy again. Use them for everything boat on my sailboat I'm building. Good price and quality.

Cheapest rags ever. Good for cleaning up real rough jobs that's about it. Not good for wiping down before finishes.

These wiping rags are great. They are Tee shirt material, and they are clean and lint free. Very helpful in doing fine finish and varnish work. I was running out of Tee Shirts to use, so these were great.

Q: Confused. Description is 100% cotton, but also says small amount of polyester helps absorb oils and petroleum products and opens up the weave to make the cotton more absorbent. So is it really 99(+/_)% cotton or is description a misprint?

A: These are from Tee Shirt material, there may be some amount of polyester in there. We are working on correcting our description. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.
