purchased for cutting fiberglass cloth on a 1966 23-3 formula thunderbird but have not used it yet for that .Have used it to cut some vinyl sheeting for bottom of a cabinet refacing and cut up some thick cotton towels to reupholster a cat tower for my two cats scissors worked great much better than the ones i purchased and returned to home depot.

These scissors work great. In my current project, I'm cutting lots of 1708 and the scissors buzz right through without distorting the cloth. No more hand cramps from using manual scissors!

I purchased these scissors to cut fabric for aircraft covering and while the fabric is not a challenge to cut with normal scissors it is hard to get a consistent cut going around a curved surface. That is where these scissors shine. I am able the make a long curved cut without having to move more than my finger to activate the trigger. I can use both hands to cut and the scissors do not care which way they are held unlike traditional scissors.

I can't believe I've water so much time cutting fiberglass manually. This thing works perfectly.

The ease of cutting any glass with the efficiency and time saving easily makes up for any cost of this priceless tool. Cuts like butts baby even thru woven, and the battery lasts for hours. I would buy this over and over again.

This my second set of this model..My first pair lasted over ten years. It's great for cutting fabric. I have arthritis and this takes the strain off the joints on my wrist and fingers

Use for work cutting foam products.Super sharp and fast cutting. The plastic pins that holds blade into cutter breaks to easily after a while. I will keep buy it though.

Saw this product on Boat works Today, and it works as well as Andy says it does. Sorry I didn't buy it earlier, its so much easier to cut fiberglass this way.

Have the same problem someone else did, the heads won't change. Something is obviously manufactured incorrectly as, right out of the box, the head I want to use won't snap on. It just won't. I've tried everything. Bought because Andy (Boatworks Today) has one that works great. I guess he got lucky. Feels like cheap construction, hit or miss quality, price is too high. Expect better better products from JD.
