The Arbortech Mini Carver is the newest version of their popular Mini Grinder tool, with additional features like variable speed operation, dust collection accessories, sanding disc system, and high-end tungsten carbide blade, plus reduced vibration to make it more effective for rough shaping, sculpting, and sanding.

Compact size allows detailed carving capabilities and maneuverability, making the Mini Carver the perfect power tool for wood carvers and shapers. V Belt Drive makes it safer to use by reducing kickback. This tool is ideal for medium wood removal and detailed carving projects. Use for burls, busts, woodturning, relief carving, sculpting, totem poles, and more.

Kit includes tool, Mini Industrial blade, rubber backing pad, heavy duty sanding discs (80, 180, 320 grit) and a dust extraction attachment.

Additional Details and Specifications

The variable speed feature includes 6 speed settings, ranging from 6,000 to 18,000 rpm. Different RPM speeds let you tailor motor output to the application. For instance, Arbortech recommends Settings 5 and 6 for high performance wood carving and sculpting. Settings 3 and 4 are best for aggressive sanding, such as evening out rough surfaces. And, settings 1 and 2 are preferred for smooth finish sanding that won't burn the wood.

The included rubber backing pad sits behind the sanding disc, supporting it, to add durability and flexibility when sanding. The Dust Extraction attachment lets you connect the Mini Carver to a shop vac / dust extractor hose, for a cleaner, safer work environment — and better sanding performance.

The tungsten carbide-tipped Mini Industrial carving blade stays sharp longer, cutting even the hardest timbers without premature wear. And, the new improved motor and anti-vibration ergonomic handle make this unique grinder more comfortable to use.
