Ancor - Marine Duplex 2-Wire Tinned Safety Cable (Red and Yellow)

Ancor Duplex Cables are made to surpass the highest UL Boat Cable standards. Ultra flexible (Type 3/Class K) stranding resists fatigue due to vibration and flexing.

Outer jacket is made for easy removal and provides the best abrasion resistance available. Features red and yellow primary conductors in a white common jacket.

Why use Duplex Safety Cable with the yellow conductor?

Ancor recommends yellow wire as DC negative because black is the standard color for AC hot.

There have been many cases of people working on the DC systems who have inadvertantly cut the live AC wire.

Because of the wide spread use of inverters, power generators and shore power connections, even today's smallest boats pose a risk of inadvertantly cutting into AC wires when working on DC systems.

This wire is great the best on the market. Looks perfect when the job is done. Lays down nice and makes corners great. Doesn't twist but is very flexible. Only wire I prefer to use.

Q: null Good Afternoon, I have 150 feet of 6/2 wire on backorder. Is there an ETA of when that order can be filled ?

A: The current PO shows that we expect to see it @ 10/13. However, the shortage is due to a supply chain issue and there is no guarantee we will receive it when promised. I recommend calling the Total Support Team at 800-497-0010 around 10/15 to follow up.

Q: null I ordered four 100 ft rolls. How did they ship? 2 rolls in the same box or 1 roll per box? I have one shipment showing delivered last week and another shipment due tomorrow 11/3/2020. Just needing to know how the shipment was spilt. Thank you.

A: Hi Bobbi, it looks like the ordr was split into two shipments of two rolls each. The shipment currently in transit is for two 100' rolls of Ancor 16/2 red/yellow.

Q: null What does ""In Stock -not available for pick up"" mean? So if I place an order, the only way I can get it is via a shipment from JD?

A: In stock not available for pick up means that it is in stock in our warehouse and will ship direct from there. If it says In Stock - available for pick up that means it is in our store and can be picked up or shipped from there.
