3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener with 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) acts just like Velcro, but is stronger. Dual Lock has five times the tensile strength of traditional hook and loop closures. Mushroom-shaped stems interlock producing a high tensile strength comparable to mechanical fasteners. A distinct advantage is the ability to open and close Dual Lock fasteners hundreds of times.
This fastening system is used extensively in transportation, electronics, business equipment, machinery, medical and sign and display markets, for applications such as securing signs, access panels or anywhere high tensile strength is required.
