The original Charlevoix Flag Clip ends the trouble of attaching your flag to a standard flag or stern light pole. This simple 2-pack of onepiece clips attach semi-permanently to your pole and will keep your flag securely in place at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. Flags can be attached or removed in seconds. The clips can also be removed, if desired.
TAY-57925 -- Flag clips fit up to 1/2" poles. (Neoprene washers supplied for poles less than 1/2")
TAY-57926 -- Flag clips fit 3/4" pole.
TAY-57928 -- Flag clips fit 7/8" to 1" flag pole.

Q: null my pole is 5/8"" inch diameter maybe even another 1/16 larger will the 3/4"" inch set camp down to 5/8"" or should I buy a 1/2"" hoping it would expand enough to give me a real tight fit , or like I said is it better to get 3/4 inch and have it cinch down a extra 1/8 or even 1/16 larger

A: I would get the 1/2"". I remember having to put white tape on my pole to expand it to the larger size connectors.
