Product Details

Swaneze Square Drive screws are designed to work with cedar and redwood decks, available in 305 and 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long lasting reliability. These decking screws have Beaver Bite points for fast starts and reduced splitting.

Swaneze Square Drive screws are available with a durable powder-coated finish. The painted heads provide an "escape notice" in decking material. Available in Ipe, Tan, and Gray. These screws have 0.344" diameter with a #2 square drive bugle head.

Swaneze screws have a Beaver Bite type 17 auger point for extra fast starts. The coarse threads approximately 2/3 up the shank of the screw draw boards tightly to substrate. Use with stable woods and wood substitutes when screw heads need to be hidden. Pre-drilling is always recommended and necessary near board ends in order to prevent splits.

Info & Guides
Deck packs contain enough screws to fasten 100 sq. ft. (6" boards on 16" centers

Square Drive Screws Great

The screws are strong and hold well. The biggest problem is the paint filled the square drive hole to the extent that is was difficult to find a bit to fit the hole.
