Stainless steel hex taps in various sizes. All sizes of Hex Tap Bolts have a full length of thread without the shoulder common to a standard hex cap bolt. Hex tap bolts provide the strength of a hex cap with a full length of thread.

Standard hex cap bolts have a threaded length equal to 2x the diameter of the bolt plus 1/2". The remaining unthreaded area is the shoulder.
Hex Tap Bolts are always fully threaded the entire length of the bolt, whereas the standard equivalent has a shoulder.
