Simple!

Very simple and functional. when you add in the cost of fuses (original and replacements), it gets a bit expensive, but is still great for the right application.

Q: If you are not supposed to mount these directly to the battery and the object is to get the fuse that feeds the 100A fuse block as close to the battery as possible, then where and how do you mount this and to what?
5 years ago1 Answer
A: there is a battery terminal block on the bulkhead next to the battery, the positive battery cable is mounted on the terminal block with one side of the fuse, the other side of the fuse is another positive cable to the load

Q: What is the purpose of the dual stud configuration? Is it to allow attachment of more than one input/output without crowding the single stud?
9 years ago2 Answers
A: In my mind, it can serve two purposes: 1) as you suggest, it can provide more space on the studs, or allow you to have only one cable connected to each stud. 2) in my application, it allows me to have utilize two different fuse sizes - a 75 amp fuse for a battery combiner and a 30 amp fuse for a solar panel. Permits a nice, clean installation.
