Q: null How many foot lbs do I torch the bolt to?

A: Hi Dave, I don't think there is any specification for that. The zinc doesn't compress so if it matches your shaft properly you just tighten it down until it stops. It should be making metal to metal contact over the entire surface so it won't go anywhere if it's tight and making full contact.

A: Measure your shaft diameter. 1.25 may fit. Do you have a European boat? Fair winds Bob

A: For fresh water, we recommend magnesium. If you are in brackish you may want aluminum.
