Product Details

Shrink Wrap Tape is best used for repairing holes in the shrink wrap, attaching access doors and securing accessories (vents, etc.) to the shrink wrap. Do not apply directly to the boat's hull or other areas where the tape may leave a residue.

For taping shrink wrap directly to the hull use Seafarer White Hull Preservation Tape.

lousy adhesion in cold weather

I tried to use this product to attach a plastic door to my cover. The temperature was about 40 degrees and the tape would not adhere. I ended up using aluminum tape.

Not so good

We used this tape for the first time instead of the more expensive shrink tape. It lasted three months, now most of it has turned to nearly dust and I had to retape some seams that gave way. The price difference is pretty huge, but if you want your cover to last more then three months, I 'd spring for the $65 roll tape.
