Owatrol Gelcoat Restorer returns dull, faded fiberglass to its original color, luster, and shine. Conventional waxes and polishes sit on the surface and dry out quickly. Unlike expensive polishes, Gelcoat Color Restorer is an oil that penetrates deeply into the fiberglass surface to re-wet the original pigment. It then dries to a durable, long lasting flexible finish.
Owatrol Gelcoat Restorer is easy to apply and simple to maintain.
Note: Not to be used on white gelcoat.

Technical Information
Properties:
- Restores original color and dries to a tough flexible finish.
- Long lasting and penetrates deep into fiberglass.
- Eliminates the need for waxes and polishes that sit on surfaces and dry out quickly.
- Easy to apply - easy to maintain.
Basic uses:
- Works on fiberglass, plastic, paint, stone.
- Horizontal or vertical surfaces.
Application:
- Tools- brush or soft cloth
- Choose an area that can be managed within five minutes. Excess GELCOAT RESTORER that dries on the surface may be removed with Marine Strip per label instructions
- Wear protective clothing and gloves.
- Cover areas you want to protect.
- Apply between 41°F (5°C) and 95°F (35°C).
- Do not apply in direct sunlight.
- Use as is, do not thin.
- Rinse the surface with fresh water. Remove dirt and heavy oxidation by scrubbing with Owatrol Deck Cleaner per label instructions. Allow surface to completely dry
- Saturate a SOFT cloth with GELCOAT RESTORER and wipe it on.
- With a SOFT cloth, wipe off excess within 10 minutes.
- Gently polish with a lint-free cloth to a new sheen.
Coverage:
- 193 ft 2 (18 m2 ) per liter.
- Actual coverage will vary depending on type, age and texture of surface.

Product is easy to apply, used it on my 5th wheel toy Hauler instead of wax. Alot easier to apply. Works Awsome.

great product, works as advertised

restored VERY badly faded & chalking black gelcoat instantly. the only downside are the instructions for use. i would recommend (though trial & error) to apply very thin with a rag, for best results. using a brush as instructions say creates uneven surface.

Such a simple fix!

I tried buffing with abrasives and waxes. This product replaces the original oils which have dried out. And you simply apply with a rag and a few minutes later wipe away excess. In my case a second coat only gave 5% more color. It really is so easy and amazing!

Restored 36 year old paint

I looked hi and low for something that would give life back to the paint on a 1984 Bronco II. I used rubbing compound on it, which helped, but the paint was dried out. I got the best results with the Gelcoat Restorer by putting some on a very small pad and applying a thin coat on a fender, then a door, then the hood etc. I actually didn't try to wipe off the excess, since I put so little on to start with. The results were amazing. The paint regained its true deep color and had nice gloss. It looks like it was painted yesterday.

Did more harm than good

Used this product based on the great reviews on gel coat of an RV. The surface was clean - no oxidation, dry and clean. Owatrol left a hazy mess when it dried - looks terrible!

A great product!

Brings back the color of faded gelcoat. Wipe it on, let it set for five minutes, wipe off gently then come back and buff gentlely. The original color will pop!
