Rear RV fiberglass bonding.
I had to rebuild a back RV wall and used this slow cure resin to adhere the fiberglass to two sheets (side x side)of exterior plywood and glazed the exposed side of the plywood 2 days after the fiberglass bonded. Worked great

My favorite epoxy
I have done a fair bit of epoxy work on boats over the years and TotalBoat is such a reliable product. The kit includes everything you need for a quick project. The cure time was perfect for my needs. The finished product is solid. I used it to wet out several different weights of cloth with ease. No odor to speak of. I will definitely stick with TotalBoat for all my future projects.

Great replacement to using West system
Switched over to this epoxy from Using West system for years. The pumps are a great addition so that people can get the correct mix. I have recently started using a scale to measure my mixes because the pumps do get messy and take up space. Using the scale with the 5:1 ratio is spot on. I will be using this epxy going forward with all of my repair projects.

Great product but the quantities never match up.
So far so good, this is the third time I have ordered this kit and my only complaint would be that the hardener always runs out long before the epoxy does. And it is not by a little amount - forcing the purchase of a new kit and then making the next amount match even less. It would be nice if the dispensed quantities matched a bit better. Other than that, I love Totalboat products and they have always been very helpful.

Such an easy and great product combo
This is the third time I've ordered this combo from Total Boat. I don't use it on a boat, I use it for custom fiberglass work on Custom Motorcycles. It is so easy to use, easy to mix and easy to lay out. I will never use another product.

Great epoxy. Quantities are off.
This epoxy is overall great. Good holding, minimal amine blush, easy to use. The problem is the quantities; specifically the hardener never seems to be enough to match the resin so that I end up with a significant amount of resin left with no hardener. The first time this happened I figured it was just me, screwing up somehow, but I use the provided pumps and it's like the third time now. And with quart kits it's off by a lot. I can only assume it's a bottling issue. After this round I might just pay the extra and get WestSystem since I'll end up paying extra for more hardener anyway. We'll see.

Totalboat products overall
I'm a DIY boat owner out of necessity, I couldn't afford my boat if I didn't do all repairs and upgrades myself. But I also really enjoy working on boats and have found Totalboat products to be my default ""go-to"" materials of choice. The quality is excellent, pricing is quite fair and their support is just great. I've used gallons of this epoxy over many years (and several boats) and have never been disappointed, I hope to keep using it for years to come!!!!!!!!!!!

Transom Repair
I purchased this product to fill in some holes in my transom. I could have used 3M 5200 as a cheap seal, but epoxy is harder and more resilient. It also works well when using a syringe to inject into the holes. The 5:1 pump mixing technique works great! It makes mixing easy and is less messy.

Used to Adhere 2 Boards Together
I purchased this to adhere two 8"" wide cypress boards together on their faces to make two boat oars. I had never used this product before and didn't know how much to mix or how it would go. My boards were 8 feet long. So I pumped enough to fill their mixing containers half full. This was based on the coverage they stated for a gallon. I stirred it and then applied it with a foam brush. When I was finished with one board, I had only used about 1/4 of the mixed resin. So I applied it to the other board too. Then I put the 2 boards together and started clamping. A lot of spill wipped upwith paper towels. I expected this stuff to get hot so I set the mixed container inside the other mixing container they provided and set it on the floor. As I was finishing cleaning up, I noticed the sides of both mixing cups bulging from the heat. I have an infared thermometer so I aimed it at the mixed surplus. It registered 233 degrees. I let the boards sit in the clamps for 7 days. I removed the clamps and cut out the oars. The joints look very good. I didn't know how to store the remaining unused surplus solution that had the pumps in it. So I just left the pumps in the bottles and set them back into the big zip loc bag. I wish they would include instructins for how to store the leftover - remove the pumps or leave them in the bottles?

Used pumps clearly labeled 5:1 resin to hardener. Pumps should be labeled 1:1, what a disastrous waste of time product a crappy mess to cleanup

First time user of Epoxy Resin.

I was very pleased with the results I had using this product to repair several canoes. The delivery was very quick. The calibrated pumps worked well. The directions were clear. I found that it was easy to use by brush and squeegee spreader. I plan on using it more to maintain a fleet of canoes and Sunfish.

Great kit for a first timer
I just bought a boat and had some fixing to do (as usual). This was my first time working with Epoxy and the kit was perfect to get me started and get comfortable with the steps and precautions I need to take while working with Epoxy. The kit was delivered quickly. The instructions to setup the pump was adequate and I got started in no time. I had also ordered the slilica thickener which I used to fill up some holes for a frill-fill-drill type of installation. All went well and the cockpit table is installed. Next steps, re-bed the chain plates. Looking forward to buying more TotalBoat epoxy.

Not enough hardener
I do not understand how something this expensive could be sold where you don't have enough hardener to match up with the epoxy. Very disappointed. Unless I did something wrong I'm very upset. What little I did get does a great job, I am just confused, the ""kit"" was supposed to make it easier not make me be stuck with epoxy and no hardener to go with it…..

The epoxy and hardener are great. My issue is with the containers. They collapse as you're trying to pump . 5 stars with better containers.

used to repair soft/waterlogged deck. Worked great with coosa board and it's strong. Ran out near the end and bought cheap epoxy. The difference is that the Total Boat was slightly thicker and it makes a difference. Used West system in the past... couldn't tell the difference except that total boat is less expensive. use it.

Worked Great
This was my first experience using a 2 part epoxy. Generally, everything went well with the application. Since this was my first time it was hard to tell when the epoxy was fully cured because the surface remained tacky. I waited 48+ hours with my first pour because of the tacky residue. After I wiped it off, I discovered that it was just a residue so I only waited 24 hours for my next pour to cure and it worked perfectly. The only real complaint that I have is that the resin was so thick that when I used the supplied pump the bottle would crush. I ended up holding the bottle by the handle and then pushing down on the pump. This worked but was not ideal. I was mixing and applying at temperatures between 55 and 40 so that probably contributed to my difficulty with the pump. This project was for a transom replacement on a '92 Crestliner Sportfish 170.

The fast hardener is just that, really fast. You've got 15 minutes at best. If the resin is thickened with wood powder or silica, I recommend spreading it out on a piece of cardboard to disparate the heat and give you extra time.
