Shields Split Wire Conduit is designed to protect cables and wires from abrasion, chafing and moisture. Complies with ABYC standard 8.15.19. Meets UL94 V2 standard. High abrasion resistance. Flame retardant. Temperature rated to 275°F. Black with yellow stripe. 50 ft. length.

Gives extra protection to wires & cable

I like this type of spit conduit for the extra protection it provides for wiring runs and bundles. It makes it less likely that wires would be pinched or chafed in normal use. The split design makes it easy to remove for service. Most auto makers use this stuff for good reason. Also neatens messy wire bundles.
