Like most things marine. You will need to supply additional components to complete the installation. One of my pet peeves is having to provide things like short pieces of hookup wire especially when the terminal connections are far smaller (miniscule)than most other marine connections. That said once you have all of the parts the hookup is a breeze.

Q: null Is this specific model still available? Is it a surface mount control head? Is it possible to get a copy of the installation manual? And finally. . . Can it be purchased without the solenoid valve but with an extra propane sensor?

A: It is available to be drop shipped from the manufacturer, check the fireboy website or contact them for a manual. Sorry, but JD does not special order parts

Q: null My vintage 2006 Fireboy S2A propane controller has started to voluntarily turn on (green on/off lite), and occasionally beep and show several different rapid and random lights. The sensor test works for #1, and shows amber for #2. I believe that means I have only one sensor. It is mounted low behind the stove, is red, about an inch tall, and the diameter of a quarter coin. Red, black, and green wires. When exercised, the solenoid does stop gas flow. Is the controller dying, do you have replacements, and how does the bezel come off? Thank you.
