3M Solvent Resistant Masking Tape is ideal for solvent based and lacquer coatings. This tape will not lift, curl, or transfer adhesive with most lacquers. It can also be used on rough, uneven or hard to stick surfaces and produces an excellent paint line. Removes cleanly and easily from the surface for up to 14 days.
Caution: 3M solvent resistant masking tape should not be used on surfaces like wall paper, wallboard, ceiling tile, uncured coatings or other delicate surfaces. Not for extended outdoor use

Q: null Will this product resist acetone ?

A: I reachd out to 3M and they replied ""The Scotch 226 tape will resist many solvents, including acetone. However, the tape should still be tested for the specific application as the duration of the exposure and other factors could impact tape performance.""
