Product Details

Polyform A-Series buoys, also called Norwegian ball fenders, are great as buoys or oversized fenders. These extremely popular all-purpose buoys are the choice of recreational boaters, commercial fishermen, and marinas alike. They are highly visible, resilient and extremely tough. Their large volume offers plenty of buoyant lift when used as a float.

Classic Polyform A Series buoys have a distinctive blue, rib-reinforced rope hold to stand up to the strongest pull. Rope hold and body are molded in one process from tough, flexible vinyl and will never separate. Resistant to all weather conditions, common solvents and mineral oils.

Nice looking set of balls

I haven't used them yet, however I inflated them and hung them in the garage to see of they hold air. They passed and didn't seem to lose any pressure even though I'm sure i overinflated them. They only call for a psi or two. Can't wait to tie up to the boardwalk in Grand Haven and check out the scenery. Cheers!

Bought three of these. One was defective, would only blow up half way and wouldn't keep the whole fill. Called Jamestown, Their distributor sent a replacement in days, no questions asked. Great first impression from Jamestown.

Tough as whitleather

You can't ask for a sturdier product to hold your hull off the dock, especially in rough weather. I recommend them for vessels 26 foot and over.

Q: How shall I size a mooring buoy? My boat is a 16' fiberglass tri-hull with a 70 horse Mercury. 1984 vintage

1 Answer

A: Mooring buoys are generally sized by the mooring tackle and how much buoyancy is needed to keep the tackle at the surface, not the boat size.
