The Marinco 50 Foot 30 Amp 125V molded shore power cord features a standard threaded ring. Fully molded plug and connector make this cable completely watertight, an important consideration for shore power connections in wet environments. The New MAR-199119, which is included in the MAR-50PCM2PROMO kit, has an LED indicator confirming integrity of the power connection. Marinco cordsets are made of 10 gauge 3 conductor flexible cable.

It's just a power cord...

Hey, it's a power cord; nothing to get very excited about... I prefer these old-style connectors, rather than the new style ones that is pushing nowadays, and I could not find these connectors locally; JTD had them in stock, and delivered quickly, exactly what the doctor ordered (for his Tardis)...

Plug it in. Water proof sealed. Did not receive the easy lock ring with it, only came with the standard threaded ring.

A: Assuming you're asking if it can be connected to a standard 15-AMP plug such as an ordinary household receptacle, yes, it can by using a 30AMP-to-15AMP adapter, also available from Marinco.

Q: null is this a good way to power a shore station lift from shore power.?

A: If you mean a boat lift, no. I believe electrical codes typically require hard-wired power supply, in conduit, to a NEMA rainproof box, with local NEMA disconnect.
