I has two fuel line fittings that wouldn't stop leaking. I applied this sealant as per the instructions and on the first try both stopped leaking!

Did a head replacement. Used this on bolts and most gaskets (not head gasket). Seemed to work well.

Bad packaging by Jamestown

Jamestown should put items like this in a separate plastic bag AND tape around the cap of the bottle.

Be Careful

While the product is very good the packaging was not. This is some very sticky stuff and despite the extra little flap of tape that JD put over the cap it still leaked all over the rest of the contents of my package. Either order this product alone or only with other products that can be wiped off with paint thinner or solvent.

Q: Will this stop a leak where the metal diesel fuel line attaches to the fuel injector? It is a barb end that is compressed into the injector with fine tread nut.

1 Answer

A: It may but the problem is if any gets to the injector it will be a problem and could destroy the injector, best to replace fuel line which shouldn't need a sealant.

Q: Can this product be used on plastic threads? The plastic threads are on a elbow fitting that will be inserted into a fuel pump.

A: I would think that would work, but test an area of the plastic to see if there is a negative reaction.
