We have about 50 units of commercial landscaping equipment and this unit takes a lot of the drama out of oil changes. Key is to have the oil warm especially if using the smaller diameter draw tube. Only takes a few minutes to pull 2 qts 6oz of oil using the smallest tube. Draw tubes could be a little more flexible and a little longer. Borrowed a friends Topsider before I bought the Moeller. Absolutely no comparison!

It worked great pumping some water from a catch pan, but after 2 hours of pumping I got only 3 quarts of oil out of my I/O boat engine.

I pulled 7 qts. of COLD oil out of the dipstick hole of my Honda 150 four stroke. Works just like you would hope. No muss.No fuss. This product is really well made and the quality shows through when you use it. I debated on the motorized competitors' model, but I read the positive reviews of the Moeller and went with it. Now I'm singing its praises too.

I purchased this item to perform an oil chonge on a Honda 150 4stroke outboard. I did the job with the oil cold and it worked better than expected. This is a very well made tool, you can tell by the way it feels when you pump it. I think that the price is very fair for what you get. The final step of this procedure is to empty the oil into a larger container for future recycling and the design of this tool makes that simple and neat. It's one of the best tools for a specific job that I have ever bought.

The screw on fitting didn't fit my Mercruiser,engine but use the hose with a clamp worked well. Unit primed and pumped to the bottom with little effort and no mess. First time using.Hope it last for years to come.

Have used this once so far to remove the overfill from my Mercruiser. The threaded fitting worked perfectly on my dipstick tube. Because the tubes are pretty stiff (which is why the vacuum works so well) a little bit of care should be exercised when moving/positioning the unit. Based on my experience, I expect it will work quiet well to fully drain all the oil from my boat engine. With a little care, the job can be done with no oil spills or drips.

I was looking forward to this product and used it according to instructions. The pump worked poorly taking a vacuum and once it did take vacuum the pump failed and made a serious mess. I would never buy this again.

We have two cars which require my jack to lift it high enough to get under and the removal of the diaper just to change the oil. Well I did a lot of research on all products on the Internet. I finally decided to buy the Moeller. This worked GREAT! Once I pumped it up and down about 3 times it was flowing very nice. It took about 10 minutes to empty my oil pan. I love this product and have told my friends. It's so easy to use, no mess and saves a ton of time!

I use it to chg the oil in my vehicles as well as my OB Boat Engine. Works great. Works best if oil is warm, but I did change the boat engine oil at 45 degrees F and it was slow, but did extract it in about 30 minutes. Because it is self-contained, you can actually change the boat oil with the boat still in the water. No water hoses or muffs to hook up to run oil through and check the levels. Had purchased many cheaper units and trashed them. This is definitely worth the $. It will be the last one you buy!

After evaluating reviews for virtually every competing product (electric pumps, many competitors, etc.) I settled on the 'Newly Designed' Moeller because of it's double-action pump (up/dn 14x), compact profile, and non-gimmicky design. It does not have extra-valves to pump out fluids (those extras often become leaking points). It does what it does extremely well. So far I have not found any negatives, it is such a pleasure to just get the job done, done well, and quickly (a few minutes for the 6-quart oil). It has quite strong suction ! If you need the pump-out valve then go to another mfg/design, I just pour the fluid out and the Moeller is very easy to handle when pouring because it has a strong handle along it's verticle container axis. One last point - it comes with a hose adaptor.
