Product Details

The Garelick Breakaway Ladder Hinge is constructed from marine grade stainless steel. The Breakaway feature helps prevent damage if the ladder is left in the down position while underway. The breakaway hinge is designed to shear the nylon bolt at an approximate force of 400 ft.-lbs. of pressure and then swing up to the water surface. One replacement nylon bolt and nut are included.

Note: Compatible with Models 19802, 19803, 19804, 19833, 19834 and 19812

Heavy Duty But Needs Modification

a year ago

As expected from Garelick, good quality, heavy duty, but..... But it would need to be modified to use the other adjusting holes. At least the far holes. The tangs would need to be trimmed off. Not an easy task with the thickness of the SS bracket
