I will buy this product to complete my job.

Small container. I bought 1 following the advice of the salesperson. It does not cover much. I had to buy 2 more and it didn't cover the whole glider. I will order another container to complete the job when my worker will have time. You should have gallons, it will make it less costly.

Perfect color match for true mahogany. Evens out the color tone across all boards

It melted the glue on my foam brushes but had an old China bristle brush to use. Color is rich and perfect for the mahogany transom.

Classic Mahogany Stain

I restored a teak companionway ladder. Stripped, sanded, stained, and then 9 coats of Total Boat Halcyon varnish. Came out great. Would definitely use it again.

Q: null It says that it can be added to West System Epoxy Resin is there a ratio of stain to Epoxy Resin
4 years ago1 Answer
A: Yes you can add this to resin. I used this method to fill cracks in my transom. A little goes a long way, it's quite dark. Q: null I'm building a mahogany Hacker replica and want to use this stain and have final finish of a polyurethane clear coat. the label says can apply that directly over the stain but I want to use West 105/207 clear hardener on the stain as a base then spray the clear coat on the faired and sanded epoxy. Will the stain hold up to the epoxy?
7 years ago1 Answer
A: Once the stain has dried fully you can coat with clear epoxy.
