It's okay.

I wasn't sure how much of this product to use for placing a vertical application that wouldn't sag or run.

Easy to use and versatile

To make polyester resin thick like peanut butter, I simply added 1 scoop of powder per ounce of resin. Mixing is quick and easy as it disappears into the mix becoming thicker as you stir. I used the thickened resin fill in the gaps around the backing plates for my chainplates and to also hold them in place while the holes were drilled. I also used it to thicken gelcoat to fix some scratches in the topsides. I thickened it the same way and then smeared it into the scratch instantly making the gouge disappear.

Would buy again

Worked as described. Was surprised to find out how much is needed to achieve the desired thickness. Ran through a quart really fast. Ordered another gallon and it's everything I needed. Wear a mask or respirator when using

Amazing thickener

Easy, light, and applied with ease. I was expecting more texture in the hardened result, but smooth as it was laid. Great stuff!

Did the trick!

I used the thickener to add body to the epoxy as instructed to fill holes from previous owners hardware position choices. After prepping and priming I now have integrity in areas that needed it.

Inadequate Packaging

It was put in a bucket and wrapped with a thin plastic bag. No lid. As expected, that thin plastic bag got damaged and silica got everywhere in the box. probably lost half of it during the shipping.
