A: Hi Richard--I do not have a definite answer to this question, but I recommend contacting Fein directly to ask specifics about the model. You can call them at 1-412-922-8886.

Q: null Is the Turbo II truly variable speed? I do not see a selector switch to adjust the speed.

A: I think the vacuum speed is a function of tool speed. Plugging the tool into the vacuum and setting the switch to auto, the vacuum starts with the tool. I use mine with sanders so - lower sander speed- lower vacuum draw.

Q: null - I want to use this as a dust collector for my sand blaster. The idea will be to adjust the vacuum so it just pulls out the dust cloud and leaves the sand inside. Is This a good application for this unit? - Secondly what is the profile height of the smallest vacuum so I can see that it fits in the space on the lower shelf of my blaster?
