Product Details

The TotalBoat Trailer-Mounted Boat Lift is a safe, stress-free way to raise a boat weighing up to 7,500 pounds up to 12" above the bunks or rollers, by yourself. Do routine maintenance with your boat still securely attached to the trailer.

This simple but ingenious system uses four lifts attached to your trailer and positioned under the four strongest areas of the boat: hull chines, stringers, and transom. While raising the boat, it's easy to keep the load balanced by turning the adjustable rod on each lift one half turn at a time. As your boat lifts up off of the trailer, it remains stable and secure because the lifts are attached firmly to the trailer itself.

Sturdy, adjustable lifts are available in two sizes and are extremely easy to configure to accommodate a wide range of boat shapes and sizes. No more hoists or dangerous improvised solutions! See the Tech Specs tab and the Info & Guides tab for dimensions and fit information that will help you select the right lift for your boat and trailer.

Note: Not for use with I-Beam trailers.

Info & Guides
Important Fit Requirements

The Trailer-Mounted Boat Lift System requires minimum clearance heights where each lift is mounted:

Make sure there is a minimum of 12" clearance from the ground to the bottom of your trailer frame. Additionally, the distance from the top of the trailer frame to the chines must be no less than 10".

Boats with very low trailers and or low rise from the trailer to the boat may lack sufficient clearance.

This innovative lift is available in two sizes: The Trailer Boat Lift System (TB-BLT4) is designed for use on trailer beams 2" to 3" wide and 4.5" to 5.75" tall.

Please inquire if you have any questions.

Note: Not for use with I-Beam trailers.

Absolutely incredible!!!! BUT...bolts won't work with most trailers

First off, this boat lift is simply awesome! Extremely high quality construction and design. I have been wondering how I was going to strip the anti-fouling paint, wetsand, buff, polish, and wax the bottom of my 24' Yamaha AR240 (yes, the previous owner put anti-fouling paint on a brand new $60k jetboat). Boat stands make me nervous and are more expensive, and this was perfect. If it were to fall off (which it wouldnt), it'd just fall on the trailer. I had my boat lifted in my driveway for about 2 weeks while I did the work. I even worked in the boat and I never worried about it slipping off. I've got a list of friends who are going to borrow this lift so they can finally was the bottom where areas that had previously been unreachable because of the bunks. But, for such a well built and designed product, it's kinda silly for the bolts included to make it completely unusable on most trailers (at least most I've seen). The included bolts are 1/2"" x 8"" but are only threaded about half the length. So on my 3"" x 2"" trailer, that leaves about 3/4"" that of unthreaded bolt, which makes it impossible to tighten down. I had to go to Lowe's and buy 16 7"" bolts, which aren't cheap. I just bought the zinc plated ones and it cost about $30 total. Regardless, I still left 5 stars bc this really is a fantastic product. It is a nice chunk of change, but you could get a few friends to split the cost and you could all do work on the boat or trailer that would usually require paying a marina big bucks.

Trailer Mounted Boat Lift

This lift helps me get my boat (O'Day 22) high enough above the trailer to install cradles and remove trailer for any work needed to be done. Also so great for applying bottom paint without missing spots.

Great product, poor packaging

Great product, however when the packaged arrived all torn up and material sticking out, I had a bad feeling. Turns out I was missing 2 bolts and three nuts! Very crucial parts to this whole system. Once I went to the store and got replacements it worked great!

Some adjustment needed BUT THEY WORK GREAT!

I have a Nautic Star XS2000 center console and a EZ-Loader dual wheel trailer. When I initially set up the lifts they fit fine forward but were too tall to fit in place on the aft of the trailer. By removing the trailer lights and raising the rear of the boat a few inches they slid in the end of the trailer fine. Also I had to use 3-4 extra washers on each bolt because the threads did't go far enough down on the bolts.

Solid Performer

Raised a 6000# Steiger Craft over its double-axle aluminum frame trailer without any issues. Rugged, heavy duty. Excellent mounting flexibility. Cribbed under keel in 2 spots for extra safety and stability, which also allowed flexibility in backing-off pads to complete prep/paint. Product paint finish can't take a beating but it's similar to regular boat stands. Galvanized option would be of interest. Shipping protection needs improvement (loose pieces, banging, etc., resulted in damaged box, scratches, marred paint). Overall excellent approach to working on bottom without using larger boat stands and without pulling trailer.

Great idea

I finally was able to paint where barnacles and growth attacked my boat's bottom where it sat onthe trailer. I was too cheap to pay for a hoist to reach those spots. Now I sprung for the boat lift and will be able to use it for years and even share it with my neighbor. (He'll pay! ) smart product.

Q: Will this work with Ultimate 20? The lift point would be under the gunnel at hull deck joint. Is the extended position long enough to reach the gunnels? I see that the minimum is 9.75"" cranked down in the extended position. What would be max extension?

A: Sorry, TotalBoat can not recommend making modifications. If it doesn't fit your trailer I recommend using boat stands and keel blocks to lift your boat off the trailer.
