Lumitec SeaBlaze Mini underwater LED lights provide serious illumination in a little 3-inch package. Efficient, reliable LEDs feature lower power consumption for extended operation, yet emit a substantial 700 lumens of measured brightness. Their self-contained, low-profile, smaller design provides years of trouble-free service and is ideal for smaller craft such as dinghies and skiffs, or other trailered boats.
For maximum performance, these lights should be mounted 6-12" (15-30cm) below the waterline.
Sold in pairs. Available in White or Blue; mounting screws are included.
Note: The SeaBlaze3 is a larger-sized version of the SeaBlaze Mini and is ideal for larger yachts and recreational vessels.
Superior Lumitec Lighting Technology
The human eye can differentiate between thousands of shades of white light, and the lighting industry uses the Kelvin temperature scale to describe these shades as a Correlated Color Temperature (CCT). Paradoxically, lower temperature emitters (e.g., 3,000°K) appear slightly reddish in color and are considered "Warm", while higher temperature emitters (e.g., 7,500°K) appear more bluish and are deemed "Cool".In general, warmer colors are ideally suited for interiors, and cooler colors usually offer greater efficacy when used on decks, exterior, and underwater areas. Lumitec considers usage location and light intensity needs very carefully when selecting color emitter temperature.
Have you ever noticed that certain lights make things look better? In the lighting industry, this is known as the Color Rendering Index (CRI), which is a score, from 0 to 100, for how naturally a light renders colors. Higher CRI emitters produce light that is more natural, richer, and vibrant. Lumitec lights boast CRI scores between 70 and 80, making them excellent sources for interior and exterior applications.
