I would prefer to have used oval head silicon bronze machine screws. Have you considered adding this to your offerings?

Q: What is the thread length for the 4"" long screw? Wondering how much shank vs how much thread.

A: The ones I bought had full thread with less than 1/4"" without near head. They were used for a 2.5"" seacock.

Q: Can this bolt be used under water? My use would be to attach a strut.

A: Yes it can be used under water. Be careful about mixing different metals under water. If your strut is bronze this is the correct fastener. Eric
