Exactly what you expect

I needed this to fix a tear I found in our old diaphragm, and this kit worked perfectly. Easy to install new pieces, and our bilge pump works like new again. If I had a complaint, it would be that there was no diagram to show you were things went. I found no O-rings on our existing pump, so I didn't know where to use those.

Q: null The diaphragm on my Whale black water under deck manual pump is torn. Will this kit work ?

A: The service kit worked well on my 40yr old Whale pump. However the old lever broke upon repair at the hole, where you insert the stick. The UV made the plastic lever brittle.That specific part is unavailable. I put a press fit thin wall aluminum ring around the split lever part, good fix. Q: null I need to replace the diaphragm of a 1985 Henderson manual bilge pump (on a small 26' Contessa sailboat) with a new one. And the valves too. 5 1/4"" OD for the diaphragm. 3/4 inch hole. Will the Gusher 8 service kit SK 8813 work for me?
