These low profile hatches are fully gasketed with U.V. stabilized resin and non-skid surface to prevent wear and discoloring. T handles and stainless steel hinge pins. Available in various dimensions and colors. See Tech Specs section for detailed info.

I replaced and old Tempress hatch with this Bomar. It turned out to be too flexible for my liking. I didnt install it. Decided to go with a much more expensive aluminum hatch which i love.

This hatch didn't last one summer. It is warping from the heat of the sun. It no longer is water tight. Don't waste your money!

This hatch is a solid replacement for factory installed hatches that have broken down. Rounded courners make sizing a little difficult if replacing hatches with squared off corners. Solid cam-locks and great watertight seal especially on my open centerconsole.

I use this for access to the bilge on my 18 foot center console. The overall construction of the hatch appears solid. The screw holes on the hinge side, however, are very weak. I drove a screw right through one of them and the others showed bowing when I placed screws to secure to the deck. I cannot recommend this wholeheartedly until that significant flaw is fixed.

A: I have installed it in floors with no problems. However, the manufacturer may not approve.

A: I just installed the same hatch to replace an existing one that was 10 years old. I used a clear silicone adhesive that stays flexible but it waterproof. I used this to keep water out but would also be able to replace again if need be. The only reason this hatch needed replacing was because people say on it. I have another one that is now 11 years old and it's still perfect.
