Shields sanitation hose fittings feature chemical and fuel resistant fiberglass reinforced nylon construction. Fittings were designed to fit series 101, 144, and 148 hoses without heating or special tools. Ideal for sanitation systems, deck drain systems and water tank fills.

Easy fit on my Shields 148

Used a straight and a 90 degree fitting on a water tank fill application. I had previously fought with a standard barbed fitting and was not getting the hose on the fitting. These fittings are a perfect fit for the 1-1/2"" Shields 148 hose. I cannot say anything about durability yet, but they look like they should last.

Q: Will the shields sanitation fittings work with Trident Sanitation hose?

A: I used Shield's premium rubber hose on my boat with this fitting. I believe it will work with trident also. Recommend double clamping.
