#10 Bronze Wood Screws Flat Head Square Drive

This is a quality product, but at least on my boat, the larger the screw size the fewer I need. That's why I was disappointed that I had to buy a minimum of 100 screws at, I think, about $.80/screw. I've bought many boxes of smaller screws, otherwise identical and have been happy to pay for 100, but their cost was usually less than $0.30/screw, and I knew I'd need multiples. In this case I needed 6, may have occasion to use a few more over the years, but would have appreciated the option to buy 10, or 25, or even 50.

These are to replace the R&P (Frearson) screws in our mahogany boat build. Much easier to work for part fitting and removing during the build.

You did not tell me until after the purchase that a $35 dollar purchase would have a $40 shipping cost. Had I known that, I could have found another supplier with reasonable shipping. You need to tell the customer what the shipping costs are before the button is pushed for the purchase.

It is great to have a source for square-drive silicon bronze screws. I drove a hundred of these with an impact driver in pre-drilled countersunk pilot holes on a boatbuilding project. No screws broke, although two had their heads split, requiring withdrawal. 98 out of 100 gets 5 stars.
