Product Details

Mast mooring buoys, also know as pick-up buoys or flag buoys, are great for attaching to your mooring pennant. Scuba divers, too, swear by them and use them to mark where they are diving. These floating buoys are made by Taylor, the leader in fenders, mooring balls and buoys. They make for extremely simple retrieval upon returning to port. A long fiberglass stem extends from the center of the float and can serve as the pick-up stick or flag holder.

Good product works as intended

I purchased the buoy to work with mooring pendents on a large mooring ball. It works fine. The mast makes the pendents easy to grab. I probably should have purchased a taller mast version for even more convenience.

A Mast Buoy is the way to go

A mast buoy takes away a lot of the drama of retrieving a mooring pendant. Forget the boat hook- you won't need it. The mast buoy makes it much easier when singlehanding. Get one- you'll love it.
