Q: Where in the process would you use this? Before compounding, polishing, and waxing or after? Seems like it would remove your wax.

A: I use it before compounding. This stuff is amazing. I'm on the ICW and our water is full of tannins that leave a brown stain along the waterline. I brush this on, leave it sit for a minute, and then rinse it off. Stains are gone. Then you can go about your buffing and waxing. I've also used it to touch up after waxing, and I've had the same, excellent results, I just had to re-apply wax to the affected area.

Q: My holding tank overflowed and I now have stains on the outside of my hull underneath the holding tank vent. Do you have any information with regards to this product if this will remove the stain?

A: Hi Greg, I've found the best thing for removing stains from white gelcoat is toilet bowl cleaner. I use it on my Hobie 16 before each season, and then compound and wax.

Q: I have a hull with stains and I purchased this product to help remove them. I also bought the boat soap, compound and wax kit to finish the job. After applying the stain remover, do I then wash the boat then compound or to I wash, stain remove, compound and wax. Juet need to clarity on order. Thanks, Chris

A: Best rinse any loose dirt off, then the stain remover, rinse, then the boat wash. After everything is clean compound then wax. If a stain is deep and the stain remover didn't remove some, the compound may get it out.

Q: Will this product remove stains left by dried leaves that have gotten wet? (The leaves leave a teabag type stain on the non-skid and smooth fiberglass sections of my sailboat deck). Thanks!
