The TotalBoat TotalTint Universal Pigments Kit contains 10 popular colors of Mixol concentrated liquid tints ideal for use in stain, filler, paint, mixed epoxy, lacquer, shellac, and varnish to get exactly the color you want. These multipurpose tints are made in Germany of the highest quality, finely ground pigments of pure color that are easy to mix into stain, varnish, mixed epoxy, paint, lacquer, shellac, and many other materials.
Kit contains 10 20ml bottles of pigments: #1-Black, #3-Oxide Brown, #8-Green, #9-Blue, #99-Ocean Blue, #11-Violet, #25-Oxide White, #26-True Yellow, #27-True Red, and ME2-Silver, a metallic tint to create effects ranging from a slight glitter to an opaque, shimmering metallic-like coating. Add silver to transparent coatings for a decorative finish or glaze, or to any of the universal pigments to create an infinite color palette.
Mixol Tints are Ideal for Use with TotalBoat MakerPoxy Clear Artist's Resin by Jess Crow
MakerPoxy by Jess Crow is an ultra clear, glossy, durable epoxy system preferred by makers, artists, woodworking professionals, and DIYers because it's easy to use, self-leveling, and can be tinted with a variety of pigments, including Mixol Universals, Mixol Metallic Effect, alcohol inks, and mica powder pigments. MakerPoxy is perfect for artwork, furniture, and craft projects on wood, plastic, fiberglass, and metal.
Mixol tints are also ideal for use in other TotalBoat epoxies, including ThickSet Epoxy, TableTop Epoxy, Clear High Performance 2:1 Epoxy, and 5:1 Traditional Epoxy systems.
IMPORTANT: Not all coating materials are tintable. Test first that the materials are compatible and do not tend to separate out, and read all information on the MIXOL® labels.
