Hotshield Minis Fiberglass Muffler / Manifold Wrap

Haven't wrapped the exhaust pipe yet. Listing both indicates stainless wire to secure IS and ISN'T included. Turns out it isn't. Looks like wrap will do the job.

I used this product to wrap the wet exhaust on my boat. It was a replacement for the original heat barrier that I could not find. This worked out better and does the job of keep the pipes cooler. I recommend wrapping the seams with foil tape and making sure to press it all down to prevent water from getting in.

Used it to reeplace the wrap arround my exhaust pipe in the engine compartment of my boat.

It wrapped around the exhaust pipe and the wire that came with it held every thing tightly. The exhaust pipe that I wrapped costs $180.00 dollars to replace and $75.00 dollars to install. This is an old car that we will be replacing in February. Our cost was less then $25.00 to repair the pipe.

This tape wraps easily around the hot pipes and manifold. The supplied wire wraps around the glass tape and holds it in place. The foil helps to reflect heat away from exposed areas. Cheap way to protect stuff from coming in contact with hot pipes.
