Q: null Is it going to work on 2 inch shaft?

A: Yes. It should work on a 2 inch shaft. The most important thing is to make sure that the packing fits the packing gland. Make sure to use individual rings and cut on an angle and placed individually in the gland staggering the cuts from side to side. Do NOT wrap the packing around in a spiral. That will not work.
