Product Details

Graphtex Ultra shaft packing contains a blend of W.L. Gore fibers and graphite fibers that are impregnated with PTFE. This combination of fibers makes packing thermal conductive, strong, and extremely durable. The thermal conductive nature dissipates heat away from the stuffing box, allowing it to run cooler and more efficient.

Great packing for higher speed ,medium to small diam. shafts, runs cooler and lasts longer than standard non graphite products.

when you handle this product your hands will get dirty. I suggest using latex gloves.

Graphtex Ultra GTU Installs Easily

Installing the packing was very easy. It was easily cut on a diagonal and the edges did not fray. I just wish that removing the old packing was as easy. I would recommend this packing with no reservations
