Taco marine grade flexible vinyl inserts for rub rails add protection to any boat. Made of soft PVC, these inserts cushion aluminum rub rails and hide fasteners while providing a clean and polished look.
Available in black or white in either 50' or 70' lengths, these vinyl inserts are well suited for boats of all types and sizes.

A new rub rail insert really spruced up my boat. The old rub rail was faded, hard and beat up after years of regular boating. This new rub rail insert not only does it's job, it makes the boat look well kept and pristine. What a great way to rejuvenate the appearance.

Q: I am looking for black rub rail with a red insert. This is what on my boat now.

A: Hi Bob, rub rail is a tough subject for custom colors like that. Have you tried to reach out to the boat's manufacturer (if they are still in existence)? A lot of times they will buy a quantity of custom colors for themselves, and the only way to get that color is go to them really.

Q: My 1999 Scout has round rub rail inserts, by a tape measure the insert measures 9/16"". Is this 1/2"" you are advertising exactly 1/2"" OD? Will this 1/2"" material you have fit my rub rails? thanks-

A: The insert that says 1/2"" does measure 1/2"". Measure the opening to see if a 1/2"" would stay in or fall out. There isn't a 9/16"".

Q: Have a BULLET Bass boat with old rope insert looks like half inch rope want to go with the roll rail would 3/4 be the size since the gap is 1/2 ?
