I am extremely nervous about this tape
I taped the boat cover to my fiberglass hull for outside storage. I attempted to remove a small section of the tape from the hull after installation and it was almost impossible to remove....

Mid winter door install

Needed to gain entrance to 32' Pacemaker mid way through winter storage. Tape and door made it easy, kept shrink wrap intact and weather proof.

Q: null Does this tape adhere to vinyl? I what to tape over my zippers for my fly bridge cover that has a few leaks. How long does this tape last in southern Mississippi weather? Or can you recommend a different tape?
5 months ago1 Answer
A: Yes, that tape will definitely adhere well to vinyl. Hard to say how long it will last. The sun would be most degrading. Not a long-term solution for a repair, but I would guess you'd get 18 to 24 months.

Q: null Will this tape hold up in the hot summer sun?
3 years ago1 Answer
A: Most of my use was not exposed to heavy sun. I did put a strip in my laser cover in April and it's held up well. Consider this a reply but not much of a solid fact- based endorsement. Dave Guinther ?
