Epifanes Water Line Paint
The Epifanes Water Line Paint was an excellent choice for my 21 foot Cuddy Cabin . The product performed very well and was so easy to apply with my HVLP spray gun. Beautiful high gloss finish really stands out in all types of weather. I will continue to purchase Jamestown Distributors products again and again. Thank you for the quick shipping and great prices.

Q: null Can I use a Rustoleum oil based paint for a waterline stripe on a wooden boat?
a year ago2 Answers
A: I've used both Epifanes Waterline paint and a similar Petit paint on different fiberglass sailboats. Both sprayed well with an airbrush and seem to be lasting well. I just touched up a few nicks in the Epifanes with a brush, which came out OK but would have been better breaking out the airbrush again. I've used the Rustoleum topsides paint only on the interior of a small sailboat. I sold that boat shortly after refinishing it, so can't really say how it held up. I did notice, though, that a few spots where I didn't sand that well between coats, the top coat was prone to peeling. The first coat seemed pretty tough, though. If you use it, make sure to pay attention to instructions for time and sanding between coats. Brent Clifton ?

Q: null I want to replace a decal that is Polo Green ( very dark green). How dark is the color green?

A: I cannot speak to the color green. I have the bright red. It takes 2-3 coats of the red to cover white behind it but the color is vibrant when done.
